Description
An angular view of the Walkway of Southport's very long pier from the Beach. This pier goes over this beach area and the coastal road then over the Marine boating lake and finishes up on the Marine Drive Promenade beyond the Ocean Plaza complex passing the Ramada Hotel and Southport Theatre. It's a long walk about a mile long and if you're too tired to walk it there and back there is a small train that frequents this pier. At the end of the pier there are wonderful views over to Blackpool and The Isle of Man. I love the way this picture draws you into its angled pathway
