Description
My version of the famous Bubbles was inspired after Sir John Everett Millias and is in pastel on tinted paper, rather than oils, my version has deeper larger angelic eyes, with a more cherubic feel about it. The work was originally called; A Child's World, and was used as an advertisement for Pear's Soap by Lord Leverhulme and then was renamed Bubbles, the bubbly curly hair and blowing of the soap bubbles fitted it's new title along with the soap. This version of my work includes a filter in tinted blue monochrome the bubbles being an allegory for champagne rather than soap for a celebratory festive winter greeting with the snow like colours, and it's digitally enhanced in advertising news poster style micro dot graining, I was surprised how good it looked in this colour and style...looks almost ghost like, reminds me of an illustration in a Dickens novel, I have added Christmas Wishes to this design to be used as a Christmas Greeting, wether as cards pictures or posters, it would look great with all your festive decorations and lights especially with blue, whites and silver
