Description
My version of the famous Bubbles was inspired after Sir John Everett Millias and is in pastel on tinted paper, rather than oils, my version has deeper larger angelic eyes, with a more cherubic feel about it. The work was originally called; A Child's World, and was used as an advertisement for Pear's Soap by Lord Leverhulme and then was renamed Bubbles, the curly hair and blowing of the soap bubbles fitted it's new title along with the soap. This version of my work includes a greeting for Christmas, the bubbles being an allegory for champagne rather than soap and it's digitally enhanced in advertising poster style blue delft /Spode style graining with added sparkle stars and Christmas Wishes inscribed, this design is available as posters and medium sized prints as well as greeting cards and accessories
