Description
My version of the famous Bubbles was inspired after Sir John Everett Millias and is in pastel on tinted paper, rather than oils, my version has deeper larger angelic eyes, with a more cherubic feel about it. The work was originally called; A Child's World, and was used as an advertisement for Pear's Soap by Lord Leverhulme and then was renamed Bubbles, the curly hair and blowing of the soap bubbles fitted it's new title along with the soap. This version of my work includes a collage of the different format's and filters I've used for these portraits in a series collection put together, the bubbles being an allegory for champagne rather than soap and they're digitally enhanced in advertising poster style linear graining and micro dot news paper graining, I've inscribed the work with the name Bubbles in matching colours, this would make a lovely centre piece on a featured wall or even a throw pillow, tote bag or duvet cover or a tee shirt
