Description
Liverpool Skyline viewed whilst walking on the beach at New Brighton from Marine Promenade towards magazine Promenade, it was a sunny day in May and the tall ships were sailing from Liverpool on a special tall ship sailing regatta staged in Liverpool's waters, you can see them in the distance beyond the driftwood sculpture of The Black Pearl pirate ship. People are walking up to view the tall ships at the waters edge as the River Mersey's tide goes out. The view of this skyline is quite phenominal as it looks closer at times more than others..this day and at this position on the beach it looked incredibly close...the sunlight reflecting on the buildings on the distance looks very striking. There are 3 bodies of water at New Brighton which lies on the tip of the Wirral Peninsular, a peninsular being a 3 sided island, The River Mersey here in picture, Liverpool bay to the left near the lighthouse and the Irish sea beyond to the far left out to sea where the ferries go to Ireland and the Isle of Mann.
