Description
Every year between June and August my garden springs to life with this aura of blue star flowers, they grow wild in my garden and climb up the trellises and brick work giving out a splash of wonderful violet blue colour in great quantities filling my garden. I love them. Here they are growing in a flower bed where they were originally planted in 1999 when I moved into my house and from thereon they've spread all around the garden not harming any of the other plants at all, these flowers can be classed as wild flowers as they are the same in nature when they grow in woodlands on cliff faces and hedgerows and they are a bee friendly garden flower. I always encourage these flowers in my garden to grow and the bees love them, so they are unbelievably enviremental friendly and hardy too standing up to the most severe winters when other plants and trees in my garden have died, they show their pretty blue faces every year.
Their technical data for those that are interested are as follows:
Campanula poscharskyana Blue Waterfall

Grows in most soils in sun or part shade.there is a bell shaped variety called bell flowers but these are known as blue stars waterfall, looks great as a throw pillow, tote bag or shower curtain
