Description
It's Shakespeare's 450th birthday this week and I thought I would celebrate it with one of my favourite sonnet extracts from Sonnet 28 this is a second design with this extract and I've used pink lavitar blossoms to reflect the summer sunshine and beauty within the poem favouring May and June in its context these flowers usually bud the end of May and blossom in June and keep on blossoming throughout the summer right up until October if the weather stays fine...unfortunately this was the last time they bloomed all six of my trees when we had that freak winter in 2010 the coldest it's ever been here for 100 yrs it completely destroyed my beautiful pink trees, as the poem says summer has too short a date, I'm able to enjoy the lovely photos of them I captured when they blossomed so beautifully, this can be used as a romantic greeting or Valentine for your wife or girlfriend as this quote from Shakespeare's sonnets is considered one of the most romantic lines ever written by a famous poet
