Description
It's Shakespeare's 450th birthday this week and I thought I would celebrate it with one of my favourite sonnet extracts from Sonnet 28 with yellow daisies reflecting the summer sun and dew drops caught on their petals, this can be used as a romantic greeting for your wife, girlfriend or even as a Valentine greeting as its considered the most romantic quote written by a famous poet.
Added item: 24 April 2016 it has been 400 yrs since Shakespeare died and this is his most popular sonnet and spring was his favourite season, the season he both lived and died and loved dearly even though this sonnet was referring to summer it has passages of spring and how it leads up to the beauty of summer which he says, is short lived...so true in many ways as beauty is short lived a great comparison in the bard's clever words of endearment of this sonnet.

I don't think the bard is alive to appreciate his birthday, but his writings have had a profound impact on English culture and language. Yellow daisies make an interesting subject in this artwork. A good photo and well framed!
