Description
An abstract painting of L.S Lowry in his studio at work, a portrait portraying his matchstick men and his life within the picture, his father who owned numerous clocks and was a clock mender and when he died at 3 o'clock the clocks were all stopped at that time, he used to paint with his suit on and had a famous signature of a 5 legged dog, I've used the flake white he used in the background of his pictures and the vermillion reds, I have some of his pictures back to front, the easel is taken from his original easel, I really researched into his life when I painted this picture depicting that he was a little bit mad, so hence the grin, he did like a joke as well and he was a recluse, his companions being his own creations, this version has a vintage caste over it with a black vintage frame, bigger sizes now available and better resolutions
