Description
Sketched in 1981 before Lady Diana Spencer was married to Prince Charles, taken from her official engagement photo. I did this in pencil and painted it for their wedding card that myself, my mother and my aunt Kay contributed to, I did one of Charles too, the original watercolour work is not available but in the royal hands of the wedding memoirs of the royal family. I still have the original pencil work here in a double frame with Prince Charles, A disastrous marriage, so the togetherness portrayed is obsolete now, but they were happy at the time: RIP Diana it's a terrible shame that you're not with us now, I'll always remember your smile that lit up the room wherever you went, this work has an added vintage filter to enhance the age of it, giving it a nostalgic appeal
