Cilla Black's statue was unveiled this month outside the original entrance to the Cavern near 8 Cavern Court in Mathew Street Liverpool as it has been 60yrs since Cilla found her fame at the famous club alongside The Beatles. I was there just a few days after the unveiling were different celebrities attended taking picture of the sculpture in bronze, engraved on the pattern of her dress are different aspects of her life, it looks good in the famous street and the statue of John Lennon just a bit further up has some competition now...a picture of her from head to foot in this version focuses on her position in relation to the Cavern Entrance and detail, someone has placed a single Rose in her hand
