This sketch was inspired by Michael Angelo's beautiful Statues and sketches of Angels, prophets and kings from The Bible, this sketch is a face of an Angel, perhaps Gabriel, I had the celestial feel of it as I was sketching this whilst I was studying Michael Angelo for an exam in ceramic art at a return to study course in 1998 of which I received a diploma, sketches and essays were required as well as the ceramic pieces, Michael Angelo's sketches and drawings are in this work and I love his work, it's genius and inspired
