My Angel portrait in pencil and pastel alternated with a blue filter as a blue angel in a collage with celestial stars added, an inspirational pattern I designed from my sketches, the angel being Gabriel, he that stands before God and carried the wonderful sacred message about Jesus to Mary long ago. Sketched in Michael Angelo's style, a sketch I did whilst studying Michael Angelo's work at Art College, I was inspired to create this design from my sketch. This version has a softer blue added, looks more gentle and becoming than the other version, I'm pleased with the results of this design.
