Description
A view of Whitby harbour in Yorkshire, a place I visited whilst staying in Yorkshire, looking along the fishing pier and boats anchored in the harbour, with a view of Whitby Abbey on the headland beyond, the ruins being around 3,000 years old are steeped in history. There are 199 stone steps leading up to the Abbey, across the swing bridge on the other side of the river, its quite a climbing walk, Ive never tried it as its much too steep for me, whereas lots of people love the challenge of climbing up those steps. Its a lovely summers day in June along the River Esk on my visit to Whitby that day.
