I spotted this red bicycle leaning against a view seat at Albert Dock facing the Dock pool and the city Buildings of the strand; the colour contrast struck me of red and blue and I used a filter to pick this out, turning up the blue and red tones, it gave a magical effect, I love it, whereas Liverpool's famous football clubs are of these colours, bright red for Liverpool and Electric Blue for Everton, the yellow ice cream van stands out from the theme, looks so right being there even though it doesn't quite match and the reflections of the red tall ship in the water and the buntings matching so well gives it that edge.

I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
