Artist's Description
A chrysanthemum single flower, with the glow of the sun shining on its centre and the rest of it thrown into shadow, making it look blue caused by reflection of its surroundings, I emphasised the blue in edit and it looked like a rare coloured flower, a star of Heaven, a truly inspired piece of work. I'm pleased with the results, so therefore created a unique design piece from it. Looks fab on all accessories
About Joan-Violet Stretch
I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
