A portrait of Prince Andrew and Lady Sarah Ferguson, a sketch I did during their engagement, before their turbulent marriage, a lovely smile captured on both of them. A true romance, but now unfortunately a lost romance, due to circumstances on the road of life....but they still love each other and spend time together regretting their divorce and even wanted to remarry. The Queen however would not allow the remarriage, I'm in total disagreement with her decision and think they should be allowed to remarry, they made mistakes and realise it now, they are both responsible adults and should be allowed to marry again and regain their lost romance. I did this sketch from the same royal photo that shows Sarah's ruby engagement ring and Rolex watch I did an acrylic painting of that photo that sold for charity at the time, I sure wish I had taken more photos of the finished painting as it was my best acrylic painted portrait to date
I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
