Impressionists Rose 3 Canvas Print

Another much smaller open rose version of my roses sculptures inspired by the French Impressionists, with hints of light yellows and pale coral.
Inspired by the French Impressionists of artists like Manet, Monet and Degas I created a rose of this style of painting in 3D form glazed in pink glazed and fired on white clay. I tried to interpretate the light and shade of impressionist art with both glaze and form. I sculpted it with my hands forming the petals pinching and smoothing in layers I was amazed at the great results of my efforts. I studied the French impressionists art at Southport Art College in early 2000's for A level standards in Ceramic sculptural art and passed my exams in the subjects thanks to my reasearch and interpretations of The French impressionists. I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
