A loose watercolour of a blue chrysanthemum filtered and blown up slightly to give a smooth effect of impact with added words of wisdom, these words hold true, I found them by chance and loved them, as resentment is within my family and it turns pretty sour and distorted over the years, untruths are added rather than love and forgiveness in time and the original settings, words, deeds and reasons for the resentment is within a curtain of blue mist, the blue and impassiveness of this work also reflects the tears and anguish resentment and lack of kindness can do and what it can do to the people who are victims of resentfulness, as well as the blankness of the mind of the resentful person who forgets and doesn't acknowledge the good the person they resent does, all they see is their built up ingrained unrealistic anger taking over like a cancerous disease in their emotional being...therefore as the words say: chaining them up to that person like unbreakable links of strong steel. I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
