A full view of this famous statue of an embracing couple at Gretna Green in Scotland with the original blacksmiths shop in view where couples got married over the anvil, it is now a popular wedding venue, the statue representing that commitment. The rain really enhanced this picture, bringing it to life, taken in March this year, looks great in any romantic setting and is compelling as a duvet cover, I love this picture as a shower curtain it gives out the wow! About Joan-Violet Stretch
I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
