Description
I decided to make my photo of daffodils growing by the lakeside here amongst the trees into an illustration of Wordsworth's famous poem, Daffodils. I used the first and last stanza as they fit the picture well and are the most well know of his poem. Besides the Lake beneath the trees, fluttering and dancing in the breeze, is precisely what these daffodils are doing, it inspired me to create this poster of Wordsworth's famous poem. I used selective colour and this was done by hand as the automatic software wasn't quite right so I painted each daffodil with my finger...being careful to not go over the line using the magnifier on the software, this took over 3hrs to do as there are a lot of daffodils. I quite like selective colour photos and enjoy doing them. This version has a fine yellow matching border
