A portrait I did in Alphonse Mucha style of my 2 children during the 1970's when they were only young, when my son was at nursery school and my daughter in junior school. I used watercolour and ink in a type of Mucha art Novae style and it worked, I gave this to my mother as she loved it and she used to have it in her best lounge on the wall, I received it back after she passed away in 2005. I love this portrait of my children as it captures the closeness they have between them as they still do...only available in smaller sized prints and accessories
I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
