My Angel portrait in pencil and pastel alternated with a blue filter as a blue angel in a double portrait design with celestial stars added, an inspirational work I designed today from my sketches. The angel being Gabriel, he that stands before God and carried the wonderful sacred message about Jesus to Mary long ago. Sketched in Michael Angelo's style, a sketch I did whilst studying Michael Angelo's work at Art College, I was inspired today to create this design from my sketch
I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
