The sun has just risen over the mountains, the weather being moody as usual in the Lake District, as the sun fought to conquer the rain in Wastwater, one of the vast lakes at The Lake District in Cumbria, this was the dramatic effect I caught on camera. The Lake District in Cumbria, England has the most beautiful scenery, highest mountains and largest, deepest lakes in all of England and borders with the south west coast of Scotland, West Yorkshire, Lancashire and Northumberland.
I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
