Artist's Description
My portrait of Marc Bolan made into an Andy Warhol style 1970's collage with different colours and tones of my portrait by using different digital filters, Marc is wearing the classic pale yellow 1970's satin shirt and red velvet big lapelled jacket. Marc's hair was hand drawn in watercolour and ink and the collage is bordered with black to give a striking appearance of contrasts with the different colours, the success of the T Rex musical inspired me to create this piece of work from my portrait of Marc. This is now in my Top Views collection of artwork with over 2,000 views
About Joan-Violet Stretch
I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
