Description
A memorial to Billy Fury the famous Liverpool pop star from the late 1950's and the early 1960's who competed with Elvis with his popularity around that time who tragically died after making a very successful comeback in 1981 in 1983 aged only 42, his fans erected this lovely memorial statue to him at Albert Dock near the waterfront at Liverpool and looks wonderful captured during the sunset a Wondrous place named after his famous song this version shows a great silhouette formed with the sunset Billy is remembered by his fans, this is the second most photographed statue in Liverpool after John Lennon in Mathew Street, I think maybe this is equal to the other due to its lovely picturesque setting, it's indeed a Wondrous Place
