Description
This is a place I'd love to be, walking along the crushed pebbles, on the island of Seil. White cottages along the foot of the cliff, what a beautiful place to live.
Looking far out to sea, is that The Atlantic Ocean I see? Yes it is trickling through the island coastal shores, under the bridge to the mainland floor. Beautiful island I deplore, is a place that I adore. Wouldn't it be lovely to go away to the Island of Seil in the month of May.
Original poem by Joan Violet Stretch
Seil island an island off the coast of Scotland linked to the mainland by a stone bridge over the estuary of the Atlantic ocean therefore called the Bridge Over the Atlantic by many, a popular tourist attraction. The poem describes the island well in my own words and Scotland is an inspiration for me in many ways. I have poems on other scenic views of Scotland if you can spot them, wether in descriptions or on the work itself.
