The sun is about to burst into splendid colour over the Mersey at twilight time early evening as the people walk along the waterfront the lamps are lighting one by one and the River Mersey is reflecting the sky there is almost a tepid pale green amongst the light golden hues over the horizon where a cruise ship is about to set sail after docking at port and the people have exhausted themselves seeing the sights of the famous music port of Liverpool I love the different textures and colours of this lovely autumn evening at the waterfront with the famous Liver Buildings in the distance
