Processed for texture effects and font, a portrait I did of Jesus, recently, with a scripture added from the gospel of John 15: 11-12. These are Jesus' words after the last supper before he entered the garden of Gethsame, he is joyous and loving towards his disciples, even though he knew he was going to be arrested tried and crucified in a most cruel and unjust way, even betrayed by one of the 12 of his beloved disciples. I did this portrait in pencil and added a sepia tone and vintage scroll effect texture with the added scripture. I have Jesus looking kind in his expression, in this sketch, with a slight smile as he was so very kind and loving and approachable, as the scriptures tell us that plainly, especially in this one were he speaks about joy and love. These words were almost his last words of instruction to his disciples, after their last supper of the passover celebration, therefore indicating the utmost importance of these words of joy, love and peace.
I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
