Description
This lovely tall white Lighthouse can be seen for miles around The Solway Firth out to the Irish Sea on the Southwest coast of Scotland on the Galloway coast, it sits on the rocks looking out to sea on the Mull of Galloway, which is a small Scottish peninsula which simply means no trees of which there wasn't one in sight. This is usually one of the breeziest places in Scotland, I was lucky that day On my visit last June, on one of the hottest days that year and what a place to cool off in the heat, there was a slight breeze and it was a relief at the time...it's simply beautiful here surrounded by the rushing tides lapping up the rocks and the beautiful flower meadow with a path that cuts through to the Lighthouse gate ahead
