The Guy Fawkes Inn retains many original features including the porch and door entrance, timber staircase, gas lighting and real log fires. The world famous Guy Fawkes Ghost Walk leaves every night just around the corner. Dine by candlelight in the Inn's restaurant, which serves traditional food from locally sourced ingredients. In the heart of York the Inn is close to most of York's attractions. York Theatre Royal and the National Railway Museum are both just a 5-minute walk away.
How would you like to stay here with ghost as well ooh! I visited here last summer and took this picture of the entrance and porchway or portal to the past, to this hotel and birthplace of Guy Fawkes, he was executed 31 Jan 1606 seems the number 13 is in his numbers, spooky!
Look at the top middle window with the full resolution preview is that a face? it looks like it to me and it's not a resident of the hotel, I only spotted that today after checking my upload was ok, it's quite faint and translucent but it's a face, crumbs! it seems to bear a resemblance to Guy Fawkes
