The Great Flood according to the Bible account: And the waters prevailed exceedingly on the Earth, and all the high hills under the whole heaven were covered. The waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered. Genesis 7 verse 19, 20
This is what the Earth would have looked like from outer space at that time, the waters above the Earth came tumbling down to the waters below the Earth. The map of the world can be seen just below the surface here of the waters,
you can just make it out if you look closely.
The film Noah being released at this time with Russell Crowe, Anthony Hopkins and Emma Watson inspired me to create this piece of art depicting The Great Flood of ancient times.
