Description
These are the best statues erected in Liverpool, the likeness and movement of these sculptures are perfectly executed, they are not stoic in any way but are alive in their stature of the inner feeling of the artist's capture of the Beatles persona. Today people gathered around this famous group sculpture to commemorate and congratulate the Beatles fame and what they have done for Liverpool, as in the summer of 1967 the iconic and very successful album Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band being released and achieving the no 1 spot. This photo of the sculptures was taken at dusk at Pier Head in front of The Royal Liverpool Liver Buildings that are lighting the way in red, white and blue ready for the night :
Congratulations to The Beatles on 50 yrs of Sergeant Pepper; didn't they do well getting this album to the no 1 spot again.
