Description
A sepia watercolour of a cottage in Formby, which has a rich history, called, The Elms. Surrounded by Elm trees, this was a priory, a post office and finaly a family house and home. The cottage with its beautiful gardens, lovely porch way, along with the Elm Trees are now gone, how this came about I dont know, maybe there was a fire, I captured this from an old photo and painted it in sepia monochrome watercolour. I love how Ive captured this beautiful cottage, a part of the history of Formby village life.
