The Cracked Picture Youth T-Shirt

It's today August 31st 1997 that Princess Diana was taken from us 19 years ago at the young age of 36. The cracked picture is my tribute today, a sketch I did of her in the 1980's that was damaged the week that she died, framed in a golden frame and a sparkly golden mount. I took it off the wall for dusting and someone walked past and knocked it over cracking the glass. I put it on the wall again after she died and I've never repaired it. I noticed whilst it was hung in a dark hallway it shone and had a glow around it and her smile shone through I took a picture of this and thought I'd put it on here to commemorate this day that she died with her warm smile shining through the tragedy I added texture to give it that nostalgic look. Diana may not be here but her smile lives on.

I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs.
