A picture of the high Street in Kendal a little town in Cumbria within the Lake District. the high street ending at the Holy Trinity Parish Church of Kendal in Kirklands, of the English Lake District, with its elaborate wrought iron gate, next door is the famous Ring 'O Bells pub were food and drink are served for hungry shoppers and visitors to the town, named after the ancient bell ringers of the church. Holy Trinity church has lovely grounds called Kirklands (Churchlands) there is a park, art gallery, museum and the River Kent passes through it with cottages on the other side of its banks, accessed by a little footbridge over the river, within the Kirklands which was originally the Abbey and the grounds of the church, a very picturesque place to visit, it was a warm spring day when I took my pictures of this wonderful little town
