A sketch I did of my son's wedding day whilst looking at his wedding pictures whilst staying at his house for a few days House sitting when they were on holiday this summer, it didn't take me long, I just casually picked up a pencil and opened my sketch book and sketched this lovely moment of their wedding with the bride's grandmother who is now 103 years, they have been married 11yrs now and their grandmother was 93 that day, she looked beautiful there in her lovely hat alongside the bride, it was a lovely wedding, one of the best with great atmosphere and lovely warm friendly people, a day I will never forget, it only took me about half hour to sketch this, I surprised myself
I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
