Description
My photo of the avenue of Limes at the riverside in Avenham park in Preston. Ive used Greyscale rather than full colour. Greyscale as apposed to black and white photography is a breaking down of all the tones, shadows and highlights in Grey, from darkest grey to lightest grey, the darkest not being completely black and the lightest not being completely white, the results are almost 3D as the tones are so very detailed, I love the results of the greyscale on this picture it worked so well with the different textures of the trees, water and the pathway through the trees with the sunlight and shadows. The trees are in their winter state and its a lovely sunny day, also picking out the footbridge over the river in the distance in details of grey tones
