I visited George Square in Glasgow last month it was overcast all through my visit with the threat of rain, as I was leaving the clouds became much thicker and visibility was much darker like it was getting near night time it was only 2.30 in the afternoon and people were still queueing for lunch at a popular mobile lunch kiosk in the square. Later the heavens opened when I was aboard the coach on my way back to the hotel, there was also a fire in the city at a famous Rene' Macintosh Art Gallery the previous night right into the afternoon it was burning, that probably added to the overcast day and added to the bad weather in the city, I visited that art gallery the last time I was in Glasgow and was shocked to hear this. The Birds were flying to roost just before the downpour, this version is in black and white Monochrome and this medium makes a very dramatic picture of this famous Square, the wide angled view brings in all the buildings around the central civic Hall.
