What Destination would you choose from this iconic signpost? New Brighton has a number of Promenades stretching right up to Seacombe, this one is Magazine Promenade, further up is Egremont promenade, towards the left is Tower and Marine Promenade leading to King's Parade, one of the longest coastlines in this part of Britain over 3 miles long from Marine Drive up to Seacombe where one can catch the Ferry to Ireland, the Isle of Mann and Liverpool, this is a wider view of this image...to think my friend and I at the age of 10 walked the full length of this Promenade...couldn't do it now. It takes twice as long on a windy day.
