I took a photo of the sunset over the North Sea looking over the North bay at Scarborough and it ended up looking like a painting due to the mist and the lack of focus because of it, I love it. I then turned up the blue a wee bit and this was the result, a lovely paint effect photograph of a sunset over the Yorkshire coast

I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
