The huge pathway that leads to the frontal Georgian wing of Adlington Hall this has the beautiful Woodland Gardens to the left that used to be Macclesfield woods. Adlington hall is mostly Tudor style, this wing at the front of the vast manor house was added later, the pathway was used by horse drawn carriages when it was built in the 18th century, the lawns are vast and takes some cutting by the garden staff, some who live in cottages in the grounds of the manor house. Adlington Hall is in Macclesfield on the Lancashire side towards Manchester in the UK a lovely rural area...I love the depth and feel of this long pathway and the perspective of this view, it was a hot day summer 2013 when I visited here, I enjoyed it very much
