Description
This is my original portrait moulded by hand in ceramics after firing the clay in Biscuit I used underglaze for natural colouring for the works and unfortunately after adding clear glaze I fired it at the wrong temperature much too high so it burnt out the carefully applied underglaze, so the original design was lost except for part of the eyes and hair everything became a natural stone colour, which didn't look so bad at all, this is the original photo taken before firing at that stage, a portrait of Noel of the popular Oasis band at the time created in 1998 and passing, with this and a number of other creations, my studio ceramic art exams, the Oasis project was a great talking point during the exhibition of the exam entries that year
