My sketch of Justin Hayward with the opening words of his famous award winning hit song Nights In White Satin, enhanced with texture filters, stippling effect and a mirror border to give a more dramatic appearance and a larger format. Justin Hayward has always been an inspiration to me ever since I first heard his song in 1967 the feel of this picture was to portray the vintage look pertaining to that era with the inspiration and celestial feel, wonderment and mysteries within the romantic heart of the night time that the song inspires to do with ones emotions, sense of musicality and foreverness in its appeal as a classic award winning song.

I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
