Description
A woodland painting I did with acrylics of a moonlit night during autumn, painted with spoons on canvas paper, detailed to finish highlights in soft pastels. The painting was done at a workshop with British artist Paul Beatty so credit goes to him for subject content, I enjoyed the different techniques with good results, the leaves a fiery colour against the moonlight and shadows looks terrifically haunting with a reflection of the birch trees in the little streamlet going through the woods, this is genuinely painted in black and white with orange shades, no special effects were used, framed in black to give it that completeness. What can you see in the shadows? Would make a great Spooky holiday greeting for October celebrations
