Description
As before the photo of Jimi Hendrix that was the last photo taken of him whilst enjoying afternoon tea in London apparently with his guitar, a humorous picture and I love it, but he never lived long after this was taken.
I added this verse from Purple Haze:
When the power of love overcomes the love of power
the world will know peace.
Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens.
Excuse me while I kiss the sky.
This verse of the song Purple Haze is not on Jimi's recordings of the song, but he was known to sing Purple Haze live with this verse included, he might have sang it at the concert at Atlanta on July 4 1970 his last live concert, a quote he used with his song as part of a peace quote for that day, it's lovely and I do know it is a quote from Jimi as he was aware of the world situation then with the Cold War and Vietnam at the time and the threat of nuclear war overhanging people during that time, it was a kind of prelude to what was coming for him I would say as this photo I have in my archives and the unknown song verse is quite phenonimal I had to share it.
(Friends state that in Hendrix's final days, he became increasingly more paranoid. Did Hendrix have a feeling that his end was coming soon? We may never know what actually transpired on September 18, 1970 and the question remains: who killed Jimi Hendrix?) source:The Woodstock Story.
It was less than a year after he played at Woodstock when he died and there is so much controversy surrounding his death and stories by apparent eye witnesses that contradict each other
Also with this inspired design I've used stars and a sunburst with purple, I hope Jimmi's fans like it as much as I do. RIP Jimi the truth will come out as lies die and the truth lives on forever.
