Mixed Media - Gouache Poster With Added Digital Flower Design
Description
I designed these whilst at college in the design dept of graphic arts during 1966.
I designed these when geometrics and bright colours were emerging in the fashion industry of which I was going to join as my mother did before the war but it didn't come about. Haute Couture was the title simply meaning high Fashion or high dress making the lettering is the original painted onto the work the flowers and hearts have been added to make a fashion poster from my work, my signature, JVC Mansell, before I signed Joan Violet and with my maiden name as it is rather old. This design looks great on the throw pillows and tote bags with added coloured borders
