Description
A ceramic portrait of Degas famous little dancer aged 14 with natural downlighting it wasn't created for downlighting but for uplighting as in theatre stage lighting but does look fascinating this way. I did a more closer shot of my sculpture mask and it does look very dramatic especially with the gold finish.. Degas was the first to create Impressionism in sculpture and I loved creating this mask from his work in intense patinated golden bronze glazing and paint work giving the unique patination Degas impressed into his sculptures, I used a green grasses background to make the gold colour of the sculpture stand out and it works well. All my sculptures and ceramic art photos on here are available as a variety of prints and all accessories
