Description
The Yorkshire Moors National Park on a quiet sunny day just cruising along, I was a passenger and was on my way across the Moors after holidaying in Scarborough, York and Whitby, I had a lovely time with. Beautiful sunny weather. I was inspired to write the following poem whilst there:
There is a soft blur
as there was a slight mist in the air...
we where on the go slow,
as the Road told you so.
Crossing the Moor was
an experience I loved for sure.
White Stripes wasn't put there
by God across the Moor,
Rough country A wild and rustic plain,
do not get lost there, I do deplore,
It will drive you insane,
wandering around that terrain
But the shrubs and grassy rolling hills
are His works
So was the rain, the vast plains,
the mist and the Billowing Clouds
The Thunderclaps and the lightning shrouds.
Cruising along this wonderful Moor.
Is exhilerating for sure,
Who could ask for more.
