The clasped hands sculpture at Gretna Geen representing love and marriage is actually an archway leading to the blacksmith's shop, where people get married over the anvil, a tradition in Scotland when marriage under 21 years wasn't allowed in England so eloping couples used to flee to Scotland were it was legal to have a none church unrestricted marriage ceremony, and today it has become a tourist attraction, people flock to get married there and love the history of it. Looking up at this unique sculpture, I love the stormy sky I captured that day, it illustrates marriage to a decree 'stormy' and it fits the picture setting a kind of mood to it
